6:45 P.M. On Wednesday, July 14, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will welcome competitors and Cyclones fans to the 4th annual Brooklyn Burger Eating Competition, sponsored by Brooklyn Burger, official hamburger of the New York Mets, Brooklyn Cyclones and the Nets. The winner advances to the competition to be held at Citi Field on July 30. Last year’s burger champ woofed down 13 two-ounce sliders (with bun!) in three minutes. |
