On Thursday, April 22, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz joined former Mets and Yankees slugger Darryl Strawberry and State Senator John Sampson at the Brownsville Multi Service Family Health Center to mark the fifth anniversary of the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA), which has helped more than 200,000 uninsured and financially struggling patients throughout New York State connect to programs that provide medicines for free or nearly free.

For more information on the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, visit www.pparx.org.
