BP MARKOWITZ WISHES HAPPY 100TH ANNIVERSARY TO MANHATTAN BRIDGE, THE “YOUNGEST” EAST RIVER SPAN

On Sunday, October 4, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz joined Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, NYC Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan, Sam Schwartz, president of the NYC Bridge Centennial Commission, and other invited guests for marching bands and an FDNY fireboat multi-color salute at the centennial celebration of the Manhattan Bridge.
