BP MARKOWITZ TO LIGHT BROOKLYN’S FESTIVE CHRISTMAS TREE, WELCOME SANTA AT BOROUGH HALL MARTY WANTS COATS

5:30P.M.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8TH
BROOKLYN BOROUGH HALL PLAZA
BETWEEN COURT AND ADAMS STREETS
DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN

On Tuesday, December 8, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and a young Brooklynite will throw the switch and illuminate the 40-foot-tall Christmas tree in Brooklyn Borough Hall Plaza—which Time Out New York has hailed as one of the City’s trees “worth seeking out on a cold winter’s night.” The tree from Canaan, Vermont, will sparkle with holiday colors each night through the holiday season. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without holiday music and a special guest appearance from Santa himself.
