On Tuesday, April 28, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Lutheran Family Health Centers Project Reach Youth opened the doors of Borough Hall to hundreds of prospective college students for the 2009 College Fair, “From Brooklyn to College and Beyond.”

Representatives were on hand from more than 30 colleges and universities, from CUNY and SUNY schools to Ivy League institutions such as Harvard and Columbia. Workshops were also offered for students and parents on paying for college and the college student experience.

Project Reach Youth also announced its scholarship winners for 2009: Charlene Barrow, Angelina Masheyeva and Sachi Moncion.
