On Thursday, December 31, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Deputy Borough President Yvonne Graham welcomed 2010 with a bang at the 28th annual New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular at Grand Army Plaza. The free celebration, sponsored by the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office and held in partnership with the Prospect Park Alliance, provided revelers with musical entertainment and hot refreshments.
Borough President Markowitz was also sworn in by Judge Bernard Graham for his third term in office. |
