Today, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Deputy Borough President Yvonne Graham, Public Advocate Bill De Blasio, City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, City Council Member Mathieu Eugene and the Caribbean Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CACCI) will attend a gathering of elected officials, corporate partners, philanthropic organizations and community leaders to update the rescue and relief efforts in Haiti and discuss short- and long-term strategies to assist victims of the earthquake as well as families in Brooklyn and New York City.
