9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. On Sunday, October 4, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, invited guests, marching bands and an FDNY fireboat multi-color salute for the centennial celebration of the Manhattan Bridge. BP Markowitz will ride a vintage car to mid-span, where he will deliver remarks honoring the 100th birthday of the youngest of the East River bridges.
