BP MARKOWITZ JOINS COUNCIL MEMBER WEPRIN, ELECTED AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO DENOUNCE EAST RIVER AND HARLEM RIVER BRIDGE TOLLS

On Monday, March 23, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz attended a City Hall press conference hosted by Council Member David Weprin to continue the call against tolls on the East River and Harlem River bridges and urge the State to support the MTA plan unveiled by the Senate Majority last week. Joining BP Markowitz and Council Member Weprin were Queens Borough President Helen Marshall, Council Member Vincent Gentile, Council Member Elizabeth Crowley, Corey Bearak of the Queens Civic Congress, and Steve Barrison of the Small Business Congress.
