On Thursday, April 30, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz went to the circus as he joined Steve Yaros of Feld Entertainment, Coney Island Development Corporation President Lynn Kelly, Councilmember Domenic Recchia, State Senator Diane Savino, ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson, Minnie the elephant and children from PS 288 at the future site of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® presents a Coney Island Boom A Ring. In addition to the unveiling of renderings of the big top, which will open June 18, tickets for the summertime spectacular went on sale. This marks the first time that the Greatest Show on Earth® will perform at Coney Island.
