BP MARKOWITZ TO ADDRESS TILDEN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, DISPLAY MEMORIAL QUILT AT BOROUGH HALL FOR WORLD AIDS DAY

On Monday, December 1, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will introduce the “Stop AIDS, Keep the Promise” student program at Tilden High School in recognition of World AIDS Day.

In addition, an AIDS memorial quilt created by the Church of the Open Door in Fort Greene, will be on display at the Brooklyn Borough Hall Community Room from 10:00 am through 7:00 pm on Monday, with each panel representing a loved one lost to AIDS.
