BP MARKOWITZ TO USHER IN CHANUKAH WITH THE LIGHTING OF BROOKLYN’S OFFICIAL MENORAH

BETWEEN COURT & ADAMS STREETS
DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN

On Monday, December 22, in celebration of Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will light Brooklyn’s official 29-foot menorah in front of the Supreme Court building in Borough Hall Plaza.

The ceremony will be led by Rabbi Aaron L. Raskin of Congregation B’nai Avraham, with musical performances by the Sparks Boys Choir and Aden. Holiday food and refreshments will also be provided, including Chanukah gelt, latkes and other holiday treats.
