BP MARKOWITZ TO KICK OFF “smART BROOKLYN GALLERY HOP” WITH BUS RIDE FROM MoCADA TO CLINTON HILL ART GALLERY

On Sunday, December 14, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will hop aboard a smART Brooklyn Gallery Hop bus outside MoCADA in Fort Greene and travel to the Clinton Hill Art Gallery (154A Vanderbilt Avenue) in Clinton Hill to officially kick off the cultural initiative that introduces art lovers to Brooklyn’s thriving and diverse art scene.
From 1:00pm to 6:00pm, 64 participating Brooklyn art galleries will offer exhibitions and refreshments, as well as a chance for visitors to learn more about Brooklyn’s expanding art scene. The free smART Brooklyn Gallery Hop features buses that run through four different gallery districts, allowing participants to hop on and off the bus within each line’s loop. Buses will be staffed with art docents offering smART tip sheets about collecting and buying art.
