On Monday, April 28, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Project Reach Youth, Inc. will welcome more than 30 colleges and universities to the 2008 College Fair to be held at Brooklyn Borough Hall.

The afternoon will give high school students, parents and educators an opportunity to meet and speak with representatives from institutions of higher learning from New York City and beyond. This year’s participants include Harvard, Barnard, Fordham and Brooklyn College.

Workshops will be held on financial aid and what students can expect from college life. There will be prize raffles, and several $500 scholarships will be awarded to winners of an essay contest.
