BP MARKOWITZ TO HONOR COACH, NURSE AND SCHOOL SAFETY AGENT WHO SAVED LIFE OF PAUL ROBESON HIGH SCHOOL HONORS STUDENT

2:30 P.M.
TUESDAY, APRIL 8
PAUL ROBESON HIGH SCHOOL
150 ALBANY AVENUE
AT BERGEN STREET
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN

On Tuesday, April 8, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will greet and present proclamations to three heroes who helped save the life of 18-year-old honors student Kyle Owens, who was stabbed inside Paul Robeson High School on March 28.

Physical education teacher and basketball coach Todd Myles and school safety agent Sheila Nesbit revived the student by performing CPR and chest compressions—nurse practitioner Vivian Gardner stopped the bleeding by placing pressure on the victim’s stab wounds.
