BP MARKOWITZ HOSTS POLISH-AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION 6:00 P.M. On Wednesday, October 24, Borough President Marty Markowitz hosts an event to celebrate Polish-American Heritage Month. The Borough President will honor Jacek Bikowski, North Brooklyn Development Corporation Tenant Advocate and Consultant; Halina Kalitka, the Musical Heart of Brooklyn’s Polonia; Alice Karpinski-Bajno, Assistant Director, PAFDC Kids. A ceremony in the courtroom will be followed by a reception in the rotunda. |
