BP MARKOWITZ’S STATEMENT ON THE DEATH OF FIREFIGHTER DANIEL F. PUJDAK “Brooklyn mourns the death of Firefighter Daniel F. Pujdak of Ladder 146 in Williamsburg. His loss is a heartbreaking reminder that the daily hazards facing our city’s brave firefighters are considerable, and that those who risk their lives to protect us are worthy of our highest praise and respect. Our hearts go out to Firefighter Pujdak’s family and to all those who held him dear.
