BP MARKOWITZ TO HOST ACTRESS AND BROOKLYN RESIDENT ANNABELLA SCIORRA, SANTA AND ST. JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR AT TREE LIGHTING FESTIVITIES

5:30 PM
MONDAY, DECEMBER 10
BROOKLYN BOROUGH HALL PLAZA
209 JORALEMON STREET
BETWEEN COURT & ADAMS STREET
DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN

On Monday, December 10, the 38-foot-tall Christmas tree in Brooklyn Borough Hall Plaza will sparkle with holiday colors at the annual lighting ceremony. A lucky child from the audience will be selected to flip the switch along with Borough President Markowitz, who will also be joined at the extravaganza by Emmy-nominated actress and Brooklyn resident Annabella Sciorra (The Sopranos, Law & Order, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Jungle Fever).

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a special guest appearance from Santa Claus, and families will also enjoy a performance by the St. Joseph High School Choir. Celebrants will then be invited inside Borough Hall for holiday treats, and Santa will distribute gifts to children.
