“From the Downtown Brooklyn Plan and Downtown Brooklyn Partnership to Brooklyn’s Navy Yard, Atlantic Yards and the Brooklyn Cruise Ship Terminal, Dan Doctoroff has contributed immeasurably to what we call the ‘Brooklyn Renaissance.’ My office has had a close working relationship with Dan over the last several years, and we will certainly miss his passion and expertise. I join Mayor Bloomberg and grateful Brooklynites in wishing Dan well—though, of course, we’re all confident that his love for this city will ensure his continued civic involvement far into Brooklyn and New York’s bright future.”
