On Monday, December 11, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will continue a Borough Hall holiday tradition and join the Korean Dry Cleaners Association (KDCA) to donate more than 6,000 articles of unclaimed clothing to New York City’s Department of Homeless Services. Homeless Services Commissioner Robert Hess will be on hand to accept overcoats, jackets, sweaters, pants, and other clothing collected by KDCA members throughout Brooklyn and New York City. Clothing donated by the KDCA will be distributed to homeless shelters in Brooklyn and throughout New York City to help New York’s homeless stay warm this winter.
