BP MARKOWITZ TO JOIN LECH WALESA AT HSBC BRANCH OPENING IN GREENPOINT **PHOTO-OP** On Wednesday, April 26, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join former Polish President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Walesa at the grand opening of a new HSBC bank branch in the heart of the Polish capital of America: Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Borough President Markowitz will present Mr. Walesa with a proclamation in his honor, declaring him “Champion of the Solidarity Era.” |
