ULURP HEARING TO CONSIDER SOUTH SLOPE REZONING, ALTERNATIVE SENTENCING FACILITY SITE PROPOSED FOR OCEAN HILL, AND Paerdegat Avenue de-mapping in flatbush

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will hold a public hearing tonight on the following proposals, pursuant to the City’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedure.

Paerdegat Avenue de-mapping at Troy Avenue and E 45 Street in Brooklyn Community District 17. An application has been submitted by the Brooklyn Mason Supply Company for a change in the city map, to enable the company to purchase the Flatbush property, which they currently lease.

Brooklyn Alternative to Detention Facility site selection at 2440 Fulton Street in Brooklyn Community District 16. An application has been submitted by the Department of Probation and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services to acquire the Ocean Hill site for use as an alternative to detention facility.

South Park Slope rezoning in Community District 7. An application has been submitted by the Department of City Planning to facilitate the contextual rezoning of the South Park Slope section of Community District 7, generally bounded by 15 Street and 4th Avenue.
