On Friday, September 16, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz joined Agency Manager Victor Vora for the ribbon cutting of Downtown Brooklyn’s new Greyhound Bus Terminal on 288 Livingston (at Bond.) President Michael Weiss of the MetroTech Business Improvement District and President Kenneth Adams of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce also attended.
“Brooklyn has the fastest-growing business districts in the region. This is the place to be, and now people have another way to get here,” said Borough President Markowitz. “It just goes to show that all roads lead to Brooklyn .”
Greyhound’s presence in Brooklyn was previously restricted to its bus stop on 395 Flatbush Ave , near Grand Army Plaza , with limited schedule service and no ticketing facility. The new Brooklyn Greyhound Bus Terminal has five departures and five arrivals a day, including twice-weekly direct trips to Montreal . For departure and ticket information, call 718-222-8570 or visit www.greyhound.com.
