Borough President Markowitz presents proclamation to Peter and Anna Katsichtis, owners of Yiasou Estiatorio.

Yiasou Estiatorio offers delicious Greek and Mediterranean cuisine

On Tuesday, May 17, Borough President Markowitz presented a proclamation to Peter Katsichtis, and his wife Anna, to congratulate them on their new restaurant Yiasou Estiatorio in Sheepshead Bay. This authentic Greek restaurant, located at Emmons Avenue and Ocean Avenue, officially opened at the end of March and serves lunch and dinner seven days a week.

“ Brooklyn pays tribute to Peter Katsichtis, his wife Anna, their friends, family, and staff as they celebrate the first new Greek restaurant to open in years on Emmons Avenue,” said Markowitz. “Brooklyn is proud to have Yiasou Estiatorio, with its renowned and delectable Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, beautiful bayside views, and quaint Sheepshead Bay setting reminiscent of the fishing villages found in the old country. On behalf of all Brooklynites, I salute and commend Peter and Anna, and the staff of Yiasou Estiatorio, as they enjoy this festive and delicious occasion and wish them many years of success on their new endeavor.”
