BOROUGH HALL UNVEILS NEW LIGHT SHOW: BUILDING GLOWS RED AND GREEN ALONG WITH CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

New Architectural Lighting System Will Highlight Occasions Year-Round

5:30 P.M.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 12
BROOKLYN BOROUGH HALL
209 JORALEMON STREET
BETWEEN COURT & ADAMS STREETS
DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN

On December 12, Borough President Marty Markowitz invites Brooklynites and New Yorkers to come enjoy the new lighting of Brooklyn Borough Hall and a spectacular 35-foot Balsam Fir Christmas tree. The front façade and cupola of Borough Hall will be sparkling for the first time thanks to the building’s new state-of-art computer generated architectural lighting system. The lighting will generate millions of color combinations to shine the spotlight on holidays and special occasions year-round, and bring new pizzazz to Downtown Brooklyn. Santa Claus will make a guest appearance. Families will enjoy performances by the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and the Brooklyn College Brass Ensemble.
