On Wednesday, March 6, Borough President Marty Markowitz served as principal for a day at P.S. 238 in Midwood, Brooklyn. The students performed a medley of songs and dance routines at the assembly.
“I’m very impressed with P.S. 238, the teachers, parents, administrators and especially all of the wonderful students and their fabulous performances,” said Borough President Markowitz. “As the home to everyone from everywhere, Brooklyn’s diversity is unrivalled. Here, at P.S. 238, the strength of the Brooklyn spirit can be felt by all — students from all different backgrounds and nationalities working, growing and learning from each other.”
