BROOKLYN BOROUGH PRESIDENT MARTY MARKOWITZ’S COMMENDS BROOKLYN DECTECTIVE ANITA GOLDEN

“We commend Brooklyn Detective Anita Golden of the 60th Precinct and all of Emergency Service Unit officers who helped to prevent a young Brooklynite in Coney Island from tragically ending his life. Detective Golden’s dedication to learning sign language is another example of how Brooklyn’s law enforcement professionals will go above and beyond the call of duty to keep us all safe. We want all Brooklynites to be healthy in body, mind and spirit. If you know someone who is depressed, we urge you to contact a healthcare professional or call the Samaritans of New York City Suicide Prevention Hotline at 212-673-3000 to get your friend, co-worker or family member the help they need.”
