BROOKLYN BOROUGH PRESIDENT MARTY MARKOWITZ CELEBRATES LITERACY WITH STUDENTS FROM P.S. 282

On March 2nd, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz joined students at Brooklyn’s P.S. 282 as a guest reader to commemorate “Read Across America”.

“Read Across America” is a nation-wide celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday that emphasizes the importance and joys of literacy. The project has been sponsored for the past six years by the National Education Association.
