NEW YORK’S FAVORITE FREE SUMMERTIME CONCERT SERIES KICKS OFF ANOTHER SPECTACULAR SEASON Featuring the stars of yesterday and today! Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz is once again hosting the greatest musical talents in the world here in Brooklyn. The 22nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Concert Series kicks off another scintillating season with New Edition on July 12th at Wingate Field, featuring the greatest performers of yesterday and today. And you don’t have to worry about spending a fortune on tickets because these 7 concerts are FREE! The 22nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Concerts are every Monday at 7:30pm at Wingate Field, which is located on Winthrop Street between Brooklyn and Kingston Avenues, opposite Kings County Hospital. There’ll be a concert every Monday night until August 25th, with a possible rain date on Tuesday night. The public is encouraged to bring their own chairs because seating is limited.
