Borough
President Markowitz applauds the achievements of the Brooklyn
College Class of 2004 at their Commencement.

Today,
Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz greeted the Brooklyn
College Class of 2004 at the College’s 79th Commencement Exercise.
Borough
President Markowitz congratulated the graduates on their extraordinary
achievement, and encouraged them to use their newly-attained knowledge
and skills right here in Brooklyn.
“It
is absolutely thrilling for me to return to my Alma Mater and congratulate
the Brooklyn College Graduates of 2004,” said Borough President
Markowitz. “Brooklyn needs your skills and your spirit. Whether
your future is in science, social policy, the Arts, or education,
there is an important place reserved for you right here in Brooklyn.”
Brooklyn
College is led by President Christoph Kimmich. United States Senator
Charles Schumer also spoke at the commencement exercise.
