On Tuesday, December 14, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and others greeted Dr. William “Bill” Cosby at Brooklyn’s Medgar Evers College Campus. Dr. Cosby addressed members of the College and community at an event entitled “Embracing Education for Success” sponsored by the Male Development and Empowerment Center of Medgar Evers College of The City University of New York. Following the talk, Edison O. Jackson, President of Medgar Evers College, gave Dr. Cosby the Presidential Medal. A performance by the College’s Imani Singers, a question and answer period and a reception followed.
