JOINS THE BROOKLYN BRANCH OF KEY WOMEN OF AMERICA AT THEIR 27TH ANNUAL AWARDS LUNCHEON

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz thanks the members of the Brooklyn Branch of Key Women of America for their efforts in supporting education.

On Saturday, April 3rd, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz joined President Bernice Brown and members of the Brooklyn Branch of Key Women of America at their annual awards luncheon where he commended the organization for its commitment to the education of young people.

In honor of the annual event the Borough President proclaimed Saturday, April 3rd, “Key Women of America Twenty Seventh Annual Awards Luncheon Day in Brooklyn, USA.”

The Brooklyn Branch of Key Women of America was founded by Ms. Lillian James in 1972 to provide educational and recreational opportunities to young people. Today, the organization provides academic scholarships to deserving students to help further their education.
