Fans wait on line for hours to purchase best seats at KeySpan Park.

On April 25th, Borough President Marty Markowitz greeted dozens of fans who were the first to buy tickets for the Brooklyn Cyclones' upcoming season. Devoted fans waited on line for an entire day to purchase the best seats at KeySpan Park, the Cyclones' Coney Island home.

Markowitz joined Cyclones mascot Sandy the Seagull at the ticket booth. Markowitz, who confesses he cried when the Dodgers left Brooklyn in 1957, told fans he is confident that the Cyclones will bring home the Borough Presidents Cup once again this year by defeating the Staten Island Yankees.

The Cyclones are the New York-Penn League Single A minor league affiliate of the Mets.
