BOROUGH PRESIDENT MARCHES IN BROOKLYN’S THREE KINGS DAY PARADE

Developers will learn how to build affordable units using the City’s new housing finance programs

On January 15th, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will host a session to introduce the Mayor’s New Housing Marketplace programs to Brooklyn’s affordable housing development community.

Affordable housing developers will have an opportunity to be briefed by representatives of both the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). HDC will present the most up-to-date information regarding its New Housing Opportunities Program and its Mixed Income initiatives. HPD will describe its New Ventures Incentive Program and its Supportive Housing Loan Program. Brooklyn’s elected officials are also invited to attend tomorrow’s program.
