BOROUGH PRESIDENT ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE FOR BROOKLYN BRIDGE TO THE WORLD CELEBRATION HONORING 120TH BIRTHDAY OF THE WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS BRIDGE

“The MTA didn’t tell us the truth about its finances when it rushed through these unfair fare hikes, and thank goodness that our judicial system has corrected this colossal blunder. The MTA can’t hoodwink the public any longer. During our challenging fiscal times, these kinds of unnecessary, regressive taxes are hurting those who can’t afford even a few more dollars a week to ride the subway or bus to work. Brooklyn says it is about time we got a fair deal!"
