STATEMENT BY BOROUGH PRESIDENT ON JUDGE'S DECISION IN LEGAL CHALLENGE TO KEEP OUR FIREHOUSES OPEN

"The mayor made a regrettable decision to close these firehouses, and the judge added insult to injury by issuing this decision. We're strongly considering an appeal, since this is a critical public safety issue that affects every single neighborhood and resident in Brooklyn and throughout the city. This is a fight that should continue because lives are on the line."
